Creating Custom Dashboards

As an admin, you can create custom dashboards to show your team the most important data in real time, helping them make better decisions quickly.
  1. Log in to the Conga Advantage Platform as an admin user.
  2. Click the App Launcher () icon from the top-left corner, go to Shared Apps, and then select Reports & Dashboards.
  3. Click +DASHBOARD.
A new dashboard opens in edit mode.
  4. To add existing charts, on the right-hand side panel, navigate to the Charts tab, and drag and drop existing chart cards into your dashboard, or click + CREATE A NEW CHART to create a new one using the available dataset.
  5. Refer to steps 7 to 11 from the Creating Charts topic.
  6. Click SAVE & GO TO DASHBOARD in the Save chart screen.
You are redirected to the dashboard screen.
  7. Click EDIT DASHBOARD.
  8. Click the ellipsis icon and select the Edit properties option.
    A Dashboard properties screen appears.
  9. Review the URL SLUG created by the system and update it if require. It will be upended to your dashboard URL.
  10. The system automatically adds the Custom tag for this new dashboard; however, from the Tags dropdown menu, you can select other appropriate tags for the dashboard. On the Reports & Dashboard screen, the dashboards are filtered based on the tag.
  11. Click APPLY.
  12. Click SAVE.
  13. Optional: Click the ellipsis icon and select the Embed dashboard option, and ensure Enable Embedding is enabled.
  14. Once you are ready with your dashboard and if you would like to make your dashboard available to other users, simply select Draft next to the title of your dashboard on the top left to change your dashboard to be in the Published state.

If you do not want to publish the dashboard immediately, you can publish it later from the list view by clicking the More () icon and selecting the Publish option.

The dashboard is now available for you and other users for data analysis and visualization.
You can continue editing dashboards and charts anytime to reflect evolving business requirements.
