Accessing AiMe with MCP

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the industry standard that MCP-enabled AI assistants can use to connect to Conga products. Just as an API provides direct access to an application without engaging a user interface, MCP provides an agent-friendly interface that eliminates the need for both user interfaces and direct programmatic requests to APIs. You can consider it an "agent wrapper" to Conga's Advantage Platform APIs.

Accessing AiMe with Claude

Give Claude access to your Conga Advantage instance using Model Context Protocol

Your Conga administrator has configured a custom MCP connector to your Conga tenant as described in Connecting Claude to the Conga Advantage MCP Server.
  1. Log into Claude.
  2. In the left navigation bar, click your profile name at the bottom (or Ctrl - ,), then Settings > Connectors.
    This raises the Connectors panel:
  3. Select the Conga MCP connector and click Connect.
Note: If you don't see a Conga MCP connector, ask your administrator for help. Your administrator must configure the connector for your instance.
  4. Click Continue Connecting.
  5. If Claude asks, re-authenticate with Claude.
  6. Authenticate with Conga.
Claude is connected to your Conga service instance and ready to use.
Open a new Claude conversation and enable the Conga connector.
Tip: To make sure the MCP connector is available, ask Claude, "What tools do you have?"

Accessing AiMe with Microsoft Copilot

Give Microsoft Copilot access to your Conga instance using Model Context Protocol

  1. Open the Microsoft Copilot agent your administrator created in Configuring Conga Advantage MCP Server for Microsoft Copilot.
  2. Submit a prompt that requires Conga data.
  3. You may be prompted to sign in using your Conga credentials to grant the agent access.
  4. It may be necessary to resubmit your prompt.

The agent can retrieve and update information from your Conga tenant. When you submit a request that requires Conga data, the agent successfully invokes a Conga tool and returns current information from your Conga instance.

Tip: Ask Copilot, "What tools do you have?" to confirm that the MCP connector is working,
