The following feature is new to Conga Billing in this release.
Configure Forecast Batch Size
You can now configure the batch size for forecast generation. You must create a custom field (Number type) in Billing System Properties with the API name as ForecastGenerationBatchSize__c and enter a value for this field (maximum value is 2000). When the forecasting job is executed using the Apttus_Billing.BillingService.forecastBilling(proposal.Id, false) API in asynchronous mode, the Billing logic generates forecast in batches with the batch size configured in this custom field.
For more information, see Configuring the Forecast Batch Size and Billing System Properties.
There are no enhancements in this release.
Data Model Changes
There are no data model changes in this release.
The following table lists the issues fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.
|Case Number||Conga Internal ID||Description|
Conga Billing is not automatically approving credit memos after Invoice Run creates them. The credit memos remain in Draft status instead. This issue occurs when you are using Invoice Run with Run Type=Immediate, and have selected Auto Approve Credit Memos on the Invoice Run.
When you are generating a billing forecast for 6000+ lines, Conga Billing displays an error.
Resolution Info: You must create a custom field with the API name as ForecastGenerationBatchSize__c in Billing System Properties. When the forecasting job is executed using the Apttus_Billing.BillingService.forecastBilling(proposal.Id, false) API in asynchronous mode, the Billing logic generates forecast in batches with the batch size configured in this custom field.
Conga Billing does not create tax breakups in the current run if there was a failure with reference to tax calculation in the previous run. However, Conga Billing updates the tax on the invoice for the current run.
When performing Credit and Rebill, Conga Billing updates the billing schedule to Pending Billing but the usage schedule remains at Invoiced or Pending Invoiced. Because of this, you cannot perform rating on newly-created usage inputs after credit and rebill.
There are no known issues in this release.
