The File Repository is included with and allows you to easily store files without the need to purchase additional storage from Salesforce.

  • You can still locate and download your files in Salesforce Files.
  • All versioning is still intact.

Prerequisites:

  • Administrators must have permissions to all required Apex classes and Visualforce pages.
  • Ensure all Remote Sites are active. For this configuration, administrators must know what objects and custom objects and related fields are required for their client's configuration for .
  • The latest version of must be installed.

To enable the file repository for , take the following steps:

  1. Log into our org. Remember: You must be on the latest version of CLM(Conga Contracts for Salesforce).
  2. Go to the Conga Contracts app from App launcher and select Conga Contracts Setup .
  3. In Setup, go to select Platform > General > Enable Use External File storage > Save.

  4. Connect your Salesforce Org to the Conga Platform.

    The controlling field can be found on the Content Version object. It is a checkbox field called Upload File to Conga’s Platform - IsCongaFile__c (this checkbox must be checked to enable the file to be stored in the Conga Repository).
