When trying to open the latest version of a Word document using the Open in Word button on the View Redlines screen, the document does not open.


To fix the issue:

  1. Ensure all Microsoft Office applications are closed.
  2. Go to Control Panel > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > version (for example: Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 365).
  3. Above the list of programs you should see options to Uninstall and Change. Click Change.
  4. Select Quick Repair.
  5. Click Repair.
  6. When the procedure completes, close the window.

You should now be able to open Microsoft Office documents with Contracts for Salesforce when Redlining documents.
