Create a Clause

How to create a new clause in the Conga Contracts for Salesforce Clause Library.

To create a new clause in your Clause Library, take the following steps:

1. From the top menu, click on the Clauses tab.
2. Click New Clause.
3. Fill out the following assigned fields: Clause Name, Clause Type, Clause Category, and Clause Text. You also have the option to enter a Clause Description, or click a checkbox to Restrict to Alternate Clause.
4. Click Save at the top right of the screen. The following message displays: Clause successfully created.
5. Your new Clause appears in alphabetical order on the left hand Clauses pane.
