Bulk Amendments
Bulk Amendments lets you apply the same amendment across multiple contracts of same contract type in a single guided request, instead of opening each contract individually.
Important: This feature is available only in the Modern UI and is not supported in the Classic UI.
When a regulatory change, commercial renegotiation, or corporate restructuring affects many active contracts at once, updating each contract one at a time doesn't scale. Bulk Amendments lets you apply the same amendment across multiple contracts of same type in a single guided request, instead of opening each contract individually.
How it works
- The Contract Manager opens Bulk Amendments & Renewals.
- From the listing page, they download the Attribute File, fill in the information for contract to be amended, and start a new bulk request with the filled-in attribute file.
- On submission, the system validates the data, then processes every contract in the background, creating an amendment record with the values provided in the attribute file, and placing each successful amendment in Ready for Signatures.
- The Contract Manager reviews outcomes in a side panel (or watches live progress for an in-progress request).
- The Contract Manager explicitly sends the completed contracts for signature.
A downloadable Process Log, available at any point after a request runs, gives a complete, per-contract audit trail for compliance and follow-up.
