Working with Offline Agreements
If you have a third-party paper to use as a basis for your contract, Conga CLM for Salesforce lets you create or import it as an offline agreement document. After an offline document is uploaded, Conga CLM for Salesforce tags it with metadata so that it can be checked out with X-Author for Contracts.
Conga CLM for Salesforce along with intelligent data extraction software enables you to intelligently discover a third-party paper. The intelligently discovered third-party paper is scanned by the optical character recognition method and converted the document to a searchable PDF.

You can upload the offline documents in any file format. When you import an offline document through intelligent discovery, an intelligent data extractor (KIRA/Conga AI) processes the file formats it supports. When you import an offline document without intelligent discovery, the merge server processes the file formats it supports. When you import an offline document in a non-supported file format (with or without intelligent discovery), the unprocessed document is available in the Notes & Attachments related list in the agreement.
