This section provides you information about how to map clauses and fields to provisions.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that you have clauses and fields in Contract Management to map to provisions.
  • Ensure that the clause and field type IDE provisions are created.

To map either clause or field to provision

  1. Go to Intelligent Import Settings Intelligent Import Data Mapping Map Provision(s).
    This displays the IDE Provisions page.

  2. Click New.
    This displays the New IDE Provision window.
  3. Enter the following details:
    1. Name: Enter a name for the provision.

    2. IDE Name: Enter the name of the IDE provider.

    3. Provision Type: Select one of the following:

      1. Clause: If you select Clause as provision type, you need to enter the following details (you should not enter any values for Base Object and Meta Data Fields when you select Clause Provision Type):
        1. Template Reference: Reference number provided in a template.
          Navigate to the Templates tab. From the Agreements selected view, select a Template Name. From the Template Detail section, note the Reference field value.
      2. Field: If you select Field as provision type, you need to enter the following details (you should not enter any value for Template Reference Field when you select Field Provision Type):
        1. Base Object: Enter the API name of the agreement object.

        2. Meta Data Field: Enter the API name of the field.

  4. Click Save or Save & New based on the number of provisions you need to create.

To edit the mapping

  1. Go to Intelligent Import Settings Intelligent Import Data Mapping Map Provision(s).
  2. Next to a mapping, click  and select Edit.
    This displays the Edit popup.
  3. Update the mapping and click Save.
