Conga Composer integrates with Conga Grid, allowing you to boost your productivity by generating a document for single or multiple records from your personalized grid view. For more information on Conga Grid, refer to the Conga Grid documentation.

This topic provides the use case for generating a document using the Conga Grid.

For example, if the administrator wants you (as a sales representative) to be able to generate a proposal from your Conga Grid view for a single record or for multiple records (in the Proposal/Price Quote stage), the administrator creates a Composer Solution and configures a gird action for the opportunity object. When you click the action from the grid view, it generates a proposal as per your composer solution.

The administrator can configure the solution in the following ways as per the business use case:

• Provide selections, such as which template to use for the final merged files or other options to streamline the process.
• Run the solution in background mode, which means the document is generated according to the predetermined output method.
