The standalone (legacy) DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce app has been de-listed from the Salesforce App Exchange. This includes the DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce CPQ app.

The legacy app has been replaced by the new DocuSign Apps Launcher package of apps that includes:

  • DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce
  • DocuSign Gen for Salesforce
  • DocuSign Negotiate for Salesforce
  • DocuSign CLM for Salesforce

Note

  • If you install any one of these apps in your Salesforce organization, the entire package of apps installs.
  • If you already have the legacy DocuSign 7 package installed in your Salesforce Org, you can also install the new DocuSign App Launcher package.
  • With Composer, you can use both DocuSign 7 and DocuSign App Launcher.

Perform the following steps to send the Composer documents for signature using the DocuSign App Launcher package:

  1. Create a Send With DocuSign button in the Conga Solution layout as follows:

    Important

Because the Send With DocuSign button does not generate documents, you must first create a Composer button that generates the document and saves it to the Files related list, then send the document for signature using the Send with DocuSign button. For more information on how to create a Composer solution, refer to the Document Automation Wizard (DAW) topic.

    1. From the App Menu, search and select DocuSign Apps Launcher.
    2. Go to the DocuSign Setup tab.
    3. Click the eSignature option under the Configuration in the left panel.
    4. Click the Button tab.
    5. Select the desired object (for example, Account) > select Layouts > click the Update Layouts button.
  2. Navigate to the object you want to use for merging the document and send it for signature.
  3. To merge and generate the document, click the Composer button that you have created.
  4. Click the Send With DocuSign button. The DocuSign Prepare & Send page is displayed.
  5. Ensure that the desired Composer merged documents are included. You can also include additional documents.
  6. Ensure that the desired Recipients are included. You can adjust the signing order if necessary.
  7. Click the Send button after review/edit the document.
