The Conga Trigger Formula Builder provides an entirely new way to create Conga Trigger formula fields by converting an existing button or link into a Conga Trigger formula field. In previous versions of Conga Trigger, this conversion had to be done manually.

The Conga Trigger Formula Builder tab.
The status bar walks through the steps of the Formula Builder. Click any step of the status bar to learn what is required.
In the Master Object box, select the object on which the button or link is displayed.
In the Output Mode box, select how the merged output file will be delivered.
In the Button/Link area, in the Name box, select the button or link to convert to a formula field.
After you select a button or link, the URL displays briefly, followed by its formula field equivalent in the Formula / URL area. Clear the Show Converted Formula box to see the button or link URL instead of the formula.
In the Formula Field area, in the Name box, type a name for the formula field. We recommend using a name that includes Conga Trigger and the button name, such as Conga_Workflow_Email_Proposal.
Click Create Field to create the formula field on the master object.
(Optional) Click the Edit button to open the button or link in Salesforce Setup and make changes to the button.
After the field is created, click the Field-Level Security button to modify the field-level security for the Workflow formula field (not pictured).

The Conga Trigger Formula Builder may also be used to edit and update existing formula fields. For more information, please see Update an Existing Conga Trigger Formula Field Using the Formula Builder.
