Two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as two-step verification, is a security layer in addition to your username and password. When using Google Authenticator for your two-step verification codes, you are still protected even if your password is stolen.
With 2FA enabled on your account, you must provide your password (first "factor") and your 2FA code (second "factor") when signing in.
Open Contract Intelligence (Standalone) in your browser.
Enter your user name and password as prompted.
Contract Intelligence displays a QR code.
Use the authenticator app on your phone to scan the QR code. This adds an account listing to your authenticator instance.
Contract Intelligence reports SecretKey has been added.
Copy the numeric token displayed in the authenticator to theauthentication code field and clickSubmit.
You are logged in to the Contract Intelligence (Standalone) application.
To log in when you have already registered
Enter your email ID (email address) and password.
Copy the token from the Google Authenticator application to the authentication code input box and pressSubmit.
If the key is declared invalid, delete the secret key from Google Authenticator and follow the 2FA Setup process again.
To reset 2FA
If you lose your authenticator app or must set up two-factor authentication (2FA) with a new app (for example, if you have a new phone or computer and can no longer access to your old authenticator), ask your CCI admin to reset your 2FA.
Once 2FA is reset, set it up again with your new app the next time you log in.
