Allowing PDF Renaming for View Redlines

You can enable the "Allow PDF Renaming on View Redlines" feature in Conga CLM setup to prompt your users to rename a PDF document before saving. This prompt appears by using the Save PDF, Save and Download, and Save Latest Version options on the View Redlines page.

This feature is disabled by default. If the user does not rename the document, the default file name is used.

  1. In Contracts for Salesforce, click Conga CLM Setup.
  2. Under Settings > General, scroll to Allow PDF Renaming on View Redlines and toggle the button to Enabled.
Users will now receive a popup prompting for a document name when using the Save PDF, Save and Download, and Save Latest Version options on the View Redlines page. Users will also have the option to append the file name with version details.
