Deactivating a Clause Category

  2. Click the name of the Clause Category from the Clause Categories list on the left.
  3. Click on the Details tab to view Clause Categories Details.
  4. Click the Inactive checkbox to make a Clause Category inactive. A yellow warning message displays confirming that the clause inactive.
Note: The inactive checkbox is also available when you are creating a new Clause Type.
Once a Clause Category is inactive, it is still viewable in the Clause Library. Side navigation will also display an inactive icon for all inactive records. Unchecking the inactive checkbox will make the Clause Category active again. You can still run reports and queries on inactive Clause Categories. If you try to deactivate a category that has at least one active clause, an error message appears.
