You will receive a warning when Contracts for Salesforce detects an inactive clause during the following processes:

• In the Clause Library if a clause has an inactive subclause, next to inactive subclauses in the select panel, and mains clause are expanded if an inactive subclause is detected.

• In the new formula field on Managed Subclauses if an inactive subclause is detected.

• During True-Up and Negotiate if an inactive subclause is detected.

• During Send for Negotiation if an inactive subclause is detected.

• When you click the Conga Sign button if an inactive subclause is detected.

• On the Approval page if an inactive subclause is detected.

In order to see the Inactive value in your layout, you must edit your layout to include this field. The Inactive field is not visible by default.
