Reporting on Non-standard Clauses

You can report on non-standard clauses in two ways:

  • Conga Grid (if included in your subscription)
  • Salesforce Reports

We recommend using Conga Grid so that you can take advantage of all of Grid’s powerful features.

Conga Grid

  1. Build a Tab Grid on the Managed Clause object
  2. Open the Grid and add the following recommended fields:
    • Managed Clause Name
    • Sort Order
    • IsStandard
    • Latest Revision Text (Rich)
    • Contract Agreement
  3. Save the Grid view
  4. (Optional) Group or filter on the IsStandard and/or Contract Agreement field in order to quickly see all non-standard clauses for particular agreements
  5. Save any customizations you make as the same view or a new view for quick access later

Salesforce Reports

  1. Build a custom report type and select Managed Clauses as the Primary Object and Managed Clause Revisions as the Related Object
  2. Create a new report of this custom type and make it a summary report
  3. Drag the fields you want to use onto the report. We recommend:
    • Managed Clause Name
    • Sort Order
    • IsStandard
    • Latest Revision Text (Rich)
    • Contract Agreement
  4. (Optional) Group on the IsStandard and/or Contract Agreement fields to quickly see all non-standard clauses
  5. Save your report in the Contracts for Salesforce Report folder
  6. (Optional) Add a chart to your Contracts Dashboard:
    • Navigate to Dashboards
    • Click Edit
    • Add the Component you want (such as a Donut Chart)
    • Drag the custom report you created onto the Component
  7. Click Save
