Troubleshooting CLM (Conga Contracts for Salesforce)

Validation null value error

ISSUE

If you are upgrading from a previous version of Contracts for Salesforce, you see the following error when you try to True-Up a Managed Clause to a null value:

Something bad happened Latest Revision Text: Clause text is required.

CAUSES

The latest version of Contracts for Salesforce removed the validation rule.

WORKAROUNDS

Navigate to the Salesforce Setup page > Objects. Locate Managed Clause and disable the Require_Text validation rule.
