Company Profile and Browse Screens

Searching the All Companies Screen

The Search option in the All Companies browse screen can be used to search for a specific company or several companies that share a common characteristic.

Warning:

The browse screen can also be used to sort companies by status by making one or more selections in the Company Status multi-select list. The Export to Excel option allows the contents of the browse screen to be exported to a spreadsheet.

  1. Click on Companies in the Navigation Toolbar, and select the Browse Companies link.
  2. In the All Companies screen, click Search to display a list of the searchable fields, and select the check boxes for the fields you want to search.
  3. Enter the name of the company, or other identifier, in the Search field, and press the ENTER key on your keyboard.
    Tip:

    Use leading and trailing asterisks (*) if you do not know the leading characters of the company name. If a company name contains the word Industries, you could enter *Industries* in the Search field.
