The User Profile screen contains five generic field lists that are used to capture the user information that is not captured by the default fields. The five generic fields are initially labeled People Field 1 - People Field 5, but must be renamed to reflect the information captured by the field. Items selections must then be provided for each renamed field. If all five of the generic fields are not needed to capture supplemental user information, the remaining fields can be hidden.

Renaming the generic fields, as well as managing the selections in each field list is accomplished from the List Administration screen. A user with the List Admin permission can perform the following tasks associated with generic field lists:
