Conga TurboEngines September '22 Release Notes

In these release notes, you can find packages, requirements, features, enhancements, resolved issues, and known issues for the TurboEngines September '22 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in TurboEngines Documentation and What's New in Data Sync Documentation.

Packages

These are the minimum required versions; later versions are also supported. Separate prerequisites for each feature can be found in the respective guides. New Features

Introducing Unified Cart

In this release, the infrastructure of TubroConfig is updated to increase the performance of cart actions such as Config, Pricing, and Finalize while working on medium to large carts. In the updated infrastructure, all complex computations in the current architecture are moved to the Conga Cloud Platform and the system of record is moved to Object DB. For more information, see Enabling TurboEngines in an Org.

Enhancements

The following enhancement is new to Conga TurboEngines in this release.

Enhancements to Promotions Include (AND) and Include with Bundle Option (AND)

Enhancement

Include (AND)

The Include (AND) promotion is applied to the products only if all products in the product scope match the criteria. TurboEngines apply a promotion on all products (in scope) only when the products are added to the cart.

Include with Bundle (AND)

The Include with Bundle (AND) promotion gets applied to the products only if all products in the product scope match the promotion criteria.
The promotion should get applied only when both options and bundle (primary product) match the criteria.
Turbo Engines apply a promotion to a bundle and options only when the bundle is configured with specified options.

Known Issues

CPQ-58544	You can not finalize the cart after revalidating the expired or inactive primary PLIs of the product.
LS-8577 / CPQ-54027	When you relaunch the saved cart, the cart displays the incorrect progress bar message.
LS-8856/ CPQ-53987	When the saveAdjustmentLineItems action is in progress, you observe a top progress bar instead of the Save action button.
LS-8249 / CPQ-54022	The attribute-based pricing does not work for the numeric expression.
LS-8477 / CPQ-53772	The product attribute value field does not clear after clicking the Validate button.
CPQ-56707	In the TurboEngines flow, CPQ does not update the summary group custom formula field value on the UI when a product is auto-included.
CPQ-54170	CPQ takes almost 30 seconds to open the Configuration page.
CPQ-55534	You observe duplicate options entries in the option group on the product configuration page after switching the option selection.
CPQ-54164	The auto-publish is not triggered automatically for a few products after data sync.
CPQ-55638	When you try to reconfigure the product in a finalized quote, the optional product is getting enabled automatically if the option is auto-included by another constraint rule.
