Setting Up Discovery AI from Contracts for Salesforce
Integrating with Microsoft SharePoint
Discovery AI on the Advantage Platform can integrate with Microsoft SharePoint so you can import files directly from your SharePoint libraries.
- From Conga Start, click
- Under Actions, click Connect.
- Log in to your Microsoft SharePoint account when prompted and follow the integration wizard steps.
Once your Microsoft SharePoint account is connected, you can select Disconnect under Actions at any time to remove the integration.
SharePoint Integration: Behaviors and Limitations
- Sorting is not available.
- An import request can only process one folder, one file, or one group of files.
- While viewing SharePoint content, if multiple items are selected across pages, you can process only the selections on the current page.
- If you select files and then go into and out of folders to select more files, only the current selection (that is, whatever the current folder contains) processes.
- SharePoint displays all files regardless of type, so be careful to select only the supported .docx and .pdf file types.
- Search results only return files and not folders.
Setting Up the Publisher API
- You have set up the app.
- You have the required API URL and token (this is a second API, specifically to communicate with the AI publisher).
- You know the AI name and your tenant name.
Conga endpoints, API URLs, and tenant information are emailed to new customers. If you lack any of the above prerequisites, ask Conga for help.
The Discovery AI administrator must establish a link to the publisher that hosts the document extraction engine's API. This includes setting the API, its endpoint path, ID and security token. The publisher API refers to the publisher of the provision models. In current practice, this is Discovery AI, which provides fundamental and standard provisions, as well as access to premium provisions.
- Click the App Configuration tab in the left navigation bar to open the App Configuration window.
- Click the PUBLISHER API SETTINGS tab.
- Click Configure to raise Connection API Settings.
- Name or accept the name of the connection and enter the IDE Service URL, API URL, tenant, and tokens as required by the AI publisher's API.
- Click SAVE.
- If the configuration is valid, the application sets up and tests the API, then syncs the Provision Library and displays a success banner.
After you have set up the publisher API, you can define the extractions.
