The recall signature feature enables you to recall a signature request after you have sent the document for eSignature. You can view the recall reason in Activity History related list and on the DocuSign Envelope record as well.

Using the recall signature button you can void an envelope even after you have sent an envelope across for signature.

To recall an esignature request

A signature can be recalled only if an envelope is sent for eSignature. The Recall Signature link should be added to the Agreement and Proposal page layout.

  1. Navigate to the Agreement or Proposal for which a request is initiated and from the Detail section, click Recall E-Signature Request.
  2. Enter the Recall Reason.
  3. Click Yes to recall the envelope. The envelope is recalled successfully.
