The Recall Signature feature allows you to recall and void an eSignature document already sent for signatures. Recalling stops recipients from viewing or signing the document.
Pre-requisites
Status category and status of the contract are In Signatures and Other Party Signatures respectively.
To recall a signature request
Go to the Contract Details page.
Under NEXT STEPS, click Recall Signature Request.
Specify the Recall Reason and click Recall Request.
Recalled successfully message is displayed. The recipients receive a notification displaying the recall reason. The recipients can no longer review or sign the document. The recipients who have already signed the document are sent an email informing them that the signature request is recalled.
The status category and status of the contract are updated to In Signatures and Ready for Signatures respectively.
The Recall Signature Request is action is recorded in the contract's activity history.
