Advantage Platform Administration

User Management

Importing Users

  • A valid CSV file to upload users from an external data source
  • Administrator privileges

Use the bulk import feature to import users from an external data source into the Conga Advantage Platform. This feature allows you to add new users but does not support updating existing users.

Note: You cannot bulk-import guests, community, or integration users.
  1. Log in to the Conga Advantage Platform as an administrator.
  2. Click the App Launcher () icon in the top-left corner, then Admin Console > Users.
  3. From the Users list page, click Bulk Import.
    The Bulk Import pop-up appears.
  4. Click Download 'upload_file_format_csv' to download the sample template file.
  5. Open the CSV file and add the import data.
    Note: For all entries, the UserType value must be set to External.
  6. Browse for the updated CSV file or drag and drop it into the Bulk Import pop-up.
  7. Click Upload.

The system validates the uploaded file. If validation fails, you'll see an error message. If there are no errors in the file, the users are imported.
