Use Case: Creating a non-disclosure contract from an account

This use case provides an example of how a manufacturing company creates a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) from a vendor Account record in Microsoft Dynamics using Conga CLM. Your implementation may vary based on your specific business requirements.

Scenario

Jane Doe, a procurement specialist at Acme Manufacturing Inc., is reviewing a newly created vendor Account record in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Before sharing confidential product specifications with the vendor, she must ensure that a Non-Disclosure Agreement is executed. Using the embedded Conga CLM interface, Jane initiates the NDA directly from Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Objective

Enable Jane Doe to create a Non-Disclosure Agreement directly from a vendor Account record in Microsoft Dynamics using Conga CLM.

Actors/Roles

Prerequisite

Conga CLM is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics.

Trigger

Jane Doe opens a new vendor Account record in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  1. Jane logs in to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and opens the vendor Account record to create a contract.
  2. She clicks Manage Contracts in the top navigation of the Accounts page.
  3. She selects Fill out a contract form option and selects NDA in Contract Type list.
  4. She fills in the contract information and clicks Create Contract.
    Contract details page is displayed.
Jane has created a Conga contract from the vendor account.
