Manage Contract Requests from Salesforce Opportunities
View, create, and edit contract requests directly from an Opportunity record in Salesforce Lightning using the embedded Advantage Platform interface.
The Conga Contract Requests integration embeds the Advantage Platform interface within Salesforce Lightning Opportunity records. This allows sales users to manage deal-specific contract requests without leaving Salesforce.
- Account
- Contact (set as the Primary Contact)
- Opportunity
How Automatic Synchronization Works
When you navigate to the related list or tab on an Opportunity record in Salesforce Lightning, the integration layer automatically orchestrates a synchronization flow between Salesforce and Advantage Platform.
For Account Synchronization, tThe system queries Advantage Platform using Account.ExternalID = {Salesforce Account ID} from the Opportunity. If the Account does not exist, it is automatically created using the Salesforce Account data.
Duplicate Prevention:A composite unique key of (Opportunity.ExternallD) prevents duplicate records during synchronization.
Synchronization Mechanism:A Workato recipe handles data synchronization between Salesforce and Advantage Platform. Once synchronized, the user is redirected to the embedded Advantage Platform UI where all subsequent contract request operations (view, create, edit) happen natively.
Key Behavior:
- Synchronization is triggered automatically when the tab is accessed; no manual action required.
- All contract CRUD operations happen through Advantage Platform's native interface after synchronization is complete.
Key Capabilities
- View all contract requests associated with an Opportunity.
- Distinguish between active and historical contract requests.
- Create new contract requests pre-populated with Account and Opportunity data.
- Edit existing contract requests using the Advantage Platform's native interface.
- Responsive design supporting desktop, tablet, and mobile form factors.
