Searching Clauses

You can search clauses in the clause library

  1. Click the App Launcher icon () and select Contract Apps.
  2. Click the Clause Library icon ( ).


  3. In the search box, enter a clause name or a keyword in a clause and press Enter.
    You can view a list of clauses matching your search criteria displayed according to the clause's last modified date.


  4. To apply filters to your search results, click the Advanced Search icon ().
    This raises the Advanced Filter window.
    Note:

    To search for a standard clause or alternate clause, you can choose one of the following options:

    • Select Clause Type as field, Operator as Equals, and select Standard Clause or Alternate Clause as value.
    • Select Clause Format as field, Operator as Equals, and select X-Author or Web as value.
  5. Select a field from the Field drop-down list to be used in the filter criteria.
  6. Select an operator from the Operator drop-down list. The operator defines the relationship between the field and the value. The list of available operators varies depending on the data type of the chosen field.
  7. Enter the value of the field. The type of value field depends on the field selected.
  8. Click Add Criteria to add another criteria. A formula is displayed in the Filter Expression textbox showing the criteria added. You can also alter the filter expression. AND and OR operators are supported in the filter expression.
    Note:

    Click the delete icon () next to the search query to remove the search criteria.

    Click Remove All to remove multiple search criteria.

  9. Click Apply.
The search results are displayed according to your search criteria.
