Asking Chat-Formatted Questions

  • You have access to agreement records.
  • An agreement record has associated agreement documents.
  • You have Conga Copilot access.

You can ask questions regarding an agreement document and expect a response from Q&A Agent. You can use the chat window in Q&A Agent to ask questions and get answers.

  1. Select an agreement from the Agreements tab.
  2. Go to the Documents > Agreement Documents section. This displays a list of agreement documents.
    Note:

    You can open DOC, DOCX, and PDF file formats.

  3. Click the document's Q&A Agent link.
    This opens the document window displaying document details on the left and the Q&A Agent window on the right.
  4. Click the Search icon () at the top of the document page and enter the keyword in the search box. You can search keywords based on the following options.
    • Highlight All: Highlight the search keyword in the contract document.
    • Match case: Limits the results to terms with a specific capitalization. When this option is enabled, the search differentiates between uppercase and lowercase letters. For example, searching for “Force” does not return results for “force” or “FORCE".
    • Match Diacritics: Text comparisons or searches take into account diacritical marks. When you’re searching for or matching text, Q&A Agent differentiates between characters with and without diacritics. For example, “résumé” and “resume” are treated as distinct entries.
    • Whole Words: Searches for specific terms or phrases in a contract document. If you search for a word, Q&A Agent only returns results where that exact word appears.
  5. The Q&A AGENT window displays:
    • How does this work?: Navigate to the Conga Customer Community page.
    • Get Support: Navigate to the Conga Customer Community page and log in with your credentials.
    • Recent chats: Navigate to the chat history window containing your recent interactions with Q&A Agent.
    • Frequently used prompts: This contains the most commonly used prompts. You can select any prompt and Q&A Agent responds with a relevant answer.
  6. Enter your document-related question in the Q&A Agent window text box and click the send icon () to receive a relevant answer.
    Note:

    Click the clear icon () before the text box to return to the home screen.

    Click the Regenerate icon () to get a different answer for the same question. This is useful if you don't get an appropriate answer in the first instance.

  7. Click the HISTORY button to view a chat history of your interactions with Q&A Agent for this document.
