Critical Update Actions for Composer Versions

A list of Composer all versions in descending order and the required actions related to the Salesforce Winter '20 Critical Update.

A critical update introduced in the Salesforce Winter '20 Release requires admins to provide users with additional custom metadata types to continue using Composer successfully. Depending on the version of Composer installed in your Salesforce org, admins must complete the action items listed in the table below. For more information about the critical update in relation to Composer, see Required Profile Permissions for Winter '20.

Note: Not all versions of Composer require users to have access to custom metadata types. Older versions of Composer do not require any action.

Check What Version of Composer Is Installed

To check what version of Composer is installed in an org:

Navigate to Salesforce Setup.
In the Quick Find search box, type in Installed Packages.
Click Installed Packages.
Locate the Conga Composer Installed Package and the version number is display to the right in the Version Number column.
