Creating a Slack Channel with the Contracts for Salesforce Slack Integration
Prerequisites
- Install and set up Slack for Salesforce in your Org
- Install the Contracts for Salesforce Slack Integration package located here.
- Configure your Contracts for Salesforce Slack Integration
Create a Slack Channel
- Navigate to a Contract Agreement and click Create Slack Channel in the upper right menu. If this button is not available, you must first complete the prerequisites listed above.
- In the popup window, enter a name for the Slack channel.
- Click Next
- A new channel is created in Slack with the collaborators associated with the contract agreement. The channel tracks the status of the contract agreement and when a new content version is added.
