Adding a Prompt

Add custom prompts to your Conga AI user interface.

Conga's machine learning tools rely on prompts acting on data to return meaningful insights. You can create and store prompts that you expect will be needed regularly. Saved prompts are available in the user interface as clickable frequently-used prompts and as text-based shortcuts.

There are no shortcuts for default prompts. Setting up one or more custom prompts deactivates the default prompts.

  1. From the Conga Start window, click Admin Console > Advantage Studio.
  2. Under App Specific Settings, click the relevant product (CLM or Discovery AI).
  3. Click Add New Prompt.
This raises the Prompt Configuration pop-up.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. The Prompt Configuration pop-up displays the following options:
Note: Click the information () icon next to any field for a description of what to enter.
    1. Enter the name of your prompt in the Name field. For example, Contract Name.
This is the name that Aime displays in its "Frequently used prompts" section.
    2. Enter the prompt. For example, What is the contract name?
Note: It is best to keep prompts brief and general. Create a short prompt that most reviewers can use.
    3. You can enter your industry in the Industry field.
This field helps the AI with context. A term like "safe harbor" for example, means different things in the real estate and shipping industries.
    4. You can enter a goal.
You may enter a brief description of what what you expect from this prompt.
    5. You can also enter a shortcut for users to enter to go directly to this prompt.
Note: This entry must start with a slash (/).
    6. Slide the IsFrequentlyAskedPrompt toggle on (from gray to blue) to promote the prompt to the "Frequently used prompts" section of the Aime user interface.
    7. Set the Prompt display channel selector to Q&A Agent.
  6. Click Save.
Your Q&A Agent prompt is now available in the Aime Assistant user interface.
