Connected App Management

The Contracts for Salesforce application uses the JWT (JSON Web Token) flow for authentication. This flow enhances application security and ensures more secure authentication management. To ensure the JWT flow works smoothly for your CFS organization, the following steps must be performed by the System Administrator for all of thier Contracts for Salesforce users.

Selecting Permitted Users for the Contracts for Salesforce Connected App

  1. Navigate to Setup > Apps > Connected Apps >Manage Connected Apps. A list of all connected apps is displayed.
  2. Click Edit next to Conga CFS Connected App name.
  3. Under OAuth Policies, select Admin approved users are pre-authorized for Permitted Users.
    Note: A confirmation popup appears stating: "Enabling this option will result in all users currently using this app being denied access. Please reference the Connected Apps OAuth Usage Report if you are unsure who is using this app." Click OK to proceed.
  4. Click Save.

Granting Contracts for Salesforce Connected App Access to All Users

Warning: All of your Contracts for Salesforce users must have access to this Connected App.
  1. Navigate to Setup > Apps > Connected Apps >Manage Connected Apps. A list of all connected apps is displayed.
  2. Click the Conga CFS Connected App name.
  3. Depending on how your Org is set up, select one or both of the following options:
    • In the Profiles section, click Manage Profile to add the Profiles you want to have access to this connected app.

    • In the Permission Sets section, click Manage Permission Sets.

After completing all of the steps, take the following steps to reconnect to your Region: Go to the App Launcher and search for Conga CLM Setup. Locate the Connect with OAuth section and click Reconnect. An "Allow Access?" page appears next. Click Allow to proceed.
Note: If you use a generic integration user, you must log in as that integration user and then reconnect to OAuth.
