Contracts Link

The Contracts link in a Company Profile displays a Contracts browse screen showing all of the company’s contracts, in both a linear list and as a hierarchy. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of contracts stored in the Profile. From the Contracts browse screen, you can access the Contract Profile for any contract.

To access the Contracts browse screen, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

Click to display the Contracts browse screen.

Contract records

Review the list of the company's contracts, along with key information for each contract.

  • Click on a contract record to link to the Contract Profile.
  • From the Profile, you can perform several program functions.

Download Document icon

If the download icon is present, right-click on it to display a menu showing a list of the documents that have been uploaded to the Contract Profile.

Click on a document in the list to view or download the document.

Multi-Party icon

If the multi-party icon is present, the contract is a multi-party agreement, which means there are more than two parties that are legally bound by the contract.

  • To view the additional parties for the contract, click on the contract record to display the Contract Profile, and then click v in the Additional Parties section of the Profile, located at the top of the screen.

Contract Status multi-select list

Make one or more selections in the list to filter contracts by status.

Search option

  • Enter the first few letters, values, or characters of your search criteria in the Search field, and click the magnifying glass.
  • Precede your search criteria with a leading asterisk (*) if you are not sure you have entered the first few letters, values, or characters.
  • (Optional) Click the Search icon to display a list of searchable fields, and then click in the check box to the left of the fields you want to search.
  • Click x to clear the filter.

For example, entering the word Fixed and selecting the Term Type check box in the Search list will display accurate search results for all contracts with a fixed term type.

Column display

To customize the information in a browse screen, hover over a column heading until the sort icon displays, and click on it to open the Sort/Column menu. Click Columns to display a list of available fields, and select the fields you want displayed by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.

Reorder and Resize Columns

  • To resize a column, hover over the right or left border of the column heading until the resize icon appears. Then, click and drag the border to the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column heading and drag it to the left or right, dropping it in the desired location. When the the checkmark icon displays, you are successfully moving the column.

Export to Excel button

Click to export the data in the browse screen to an Excel spreadsheet.

Contract Tree view

Click to display a view of the contracts in a tree structure, with parent contracts at the top of the hierarchy (shown below).

To access the Contracts Tree View, click the Contract Tree tab in the Links section.

Review the root (Master and Individual) contracts, which are shown as top-level folders, and their incorporated contracts, such as Amendments and Schedules, which are shown as sub-folders.

Expand and Collapse icons

Use the - and + icons to collapse/expand the hierarchy.

Status multi-select list

Make one or more selections in the list to filter contracts by status.

Agreement Type multi-select list

Make one or more selections in the list to filter contracts by agreement type.

New Contract button

Click to add a new root or incorporated contract.

Related Company Contract List view

Click to display a screen showing a list of contracts for any companies that have a relationship with the active company.

  • Filter the contracts using the Contract Status multi-select list.
  • Locate one or more contracts using the Search option.
