Opening a Location Profile

When the information for an additional location is captured, you can review the address and contact information from the Location Profile in its Company Profile. You can also identify companies with additional locations by running a search query.

Company Profile

  1. Open the Company Profile containing the Location Profile you want to review.
  2. In the Company Profile, click the Locations link in the Links section of the screen.
  3. In the Locations browse screen, click the location you want to review to display its Location Profile.

Search Query

A search query to find a company location by its type is shown below.

  1. Click Search in the Navigation Toolbar, and select the Search Query link in the menu.
  2. In the Query Info view of the screen, click New in the toolbar.
    • Company→Company Location
    • Click in the list to display the hierarchy, and click the > icon to the left of the Company folder.
    • Scroll down and click the Company Location folder.When the screen refreshes, set the following hierarchy in the Result Type list to search for a company location. You can also search for a location by address, phone number, or any of the other fields in the Location Profile.
  3. In the Criteria section, set the search hierarchy for the location type in the field list:
    1. Company→Company Location→Location Type
    2. Click in the list to display the hierarchy, and click the > icon to the left of the Company folder.
    3. Scroll past the alphabetical listing of fields in the Company Profile, and click the > icon to the left of the Location folder.
    4. Scroll down and click the Location Type sub-folder.
  4. In the Criteria section, define the operator and value(s) for the search :
    • Select In in the inclusion list.
    • Select the location type in the value list.
  5. Click Execute in the toolbar to run the query.
  6. When the Results view of the screen displays, click a search record to display its Company Profile.
  7. In the Company Profile, click the Locations link in the Links section of the screen.
  8. In the Locations screen, click a location to display its Location Profile.
