Locating a Document or eSignature Package

The document and eSignature packages associated with a contract are viewed and managed in the Document Packages browse screen. You can access the browse screen from the Contact Profile, the Document Packages/eSignature Packages portlet, and your My Place menu.

A document package is created when the Document Package Wizard or the eSignature Package Wizard is run. You can open the document packages that you have been invited to join as a member or Administrator, as well as the eSignature packages for which you are a signatory or recipient in the electronic signing process.

You can locate your document/eSignature packages from:

  • Document Packages or eSignature Packages portlet in the Dashboard
  • Documents menu in the Navigation Toolbar
  • Contract Profile

Document or eSignature Packages Portlet

In the Dashboard, locate (or add) the Document Packages or eSignature Packages portlet.

Use the Document Packages portlet to locate a package that has not been submitted for eSignature.

  1. In the portlet, locate the package by scrolling through the list, or typing the name of the package into the Search field and pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard.
    • Click on a document (or Signer) record to display the document (or eSignature) package in a new browser window.
    • Click on an icon to perform a task for the package, or a document in the package.
    • Click View Document Package Profile to display the Document Package Profile to perform additional tasks for the package and/or documents in the package.
  2. (Optional) Manage the display of information in the portet:
    • Update the columns that display using the Sort/Column menu.
    • Reorder and resize the columns to manage the display of information in the browse screen.
    • Sort the data in a column by clicking (toggling) on a column heading.

Documents Menu

The Document Packages browse screen that is accessed from your My Place menu contains only the document packages where you have been named as a member or Administrator.

  1. Click Documents in the Navigation Toolbar.
  2. In the Documents menu, click the Document Packages link.
  3. In the Document Packages screen, locate the package by scrolling through the list, or typing the name of the package into the Search field and pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard.
    • Click on an icon to perform a task for the package, or a document in the package.
    • Click View Document Package Profile to display the Document Package Profile to perform additional tasks for the package and/or documents in the package.
  4. (Optional) Manage the display of information in the screen:
    1. Update the columns that display using the Sort/Column menu.
    2. Reorder and resize the columns to manage the display of information in the browse screen.
    3. Sort the data in a column by clicking (toggling) on a column heading.

Contract Profile

  1. Open the Contract Profile containing the document package or eSignature package.
  2. Click the Document Packages link.
  3. In the Document Packages screen, locate the package by scrolling through the list, or typing the name of the package into the Search field and pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard. You can also search for a document package using any of the other fields in the Search list.
  4. Click on an icon to perform a task for the package, or a document in the package.
  5. Click View Document Package Profile to display the Document Package Profile to perform additional tasks for the package and/or documents in the package.
  6. (Optional) Manage the display of information in the screen:
    1. Update the columns that display using the Sort/Column menu.
    2. Reorder and resize the columns to manage the display of information in the browse screen.
    3. Sort the data in a column by clicking (toggling) on a column heading.
