Defining Scope for a Rebate
- Do one of the following:
- If you are creating a new rebate, complete Defining Information for a Rebate before defining the scope.
- If you are editing an existing rebate, then navigate to ADMIN SETUP > Incentive Management > Rebates and click the rebate name. Click Edit > Save & Next to navigate to Scope page.
- Define values for the fields described in the following table. Based on the type of rebate selected, some of the following fields are either enabled, disabled, or default selections are displayed.Note: The default value for each field is All, hence if you do not select a value, CPQ evaluates all items for each field and that can impact the performance. By default, the fields you define are set to be included in the scope of your rebate .
Field Description Enable Multiple Condition Note: This feature is available for the Buy X Get Y application method.Use this toggle to control how you define rebate scope conditions. Turn it off to apply a single condition to the selected scope, or turn it on to create multiple condition groups using AND/OR logic for complex rebate rules.
Products Product Family Scope Select the Product Family that you want to apply the rebate to. Product Family Operator Select the operator, in or not in. Product Groups Select the Product Group that you want to apply the rebate to. Product Group Operator Select the operator, in or not in. Product Select one or more products or choose "All Products" to apply the rebate. You can search by product name or code using the dropdown. Note: When you select All Products, the system disables individual product selection. When you select individual products, the system disables the All Products option.Product Operator Select the operator, in or not in. Accounts Account Types Select the types of accounts for which you want to make this rebate available. Account Type Operator Select the operator, in or not in. Account Select the accounts for which you want to make this rebate available. Account Operator Select the operator, in or not in. Summary Rebate name, program name, program description, and scope is displayed in real-time. - Click Save to save the changes or click Save & Next to move to the next tab.
