Associating Collateral with a Product

  • Keep required collaterals saved in your system.
Associating required collaterals with a product ensures that sales teams have quick access to relevant collaterals that support the sales process. These collaterals may include any kind of documents such as brochures, datasheets, case studies, pricing documents, and other resources that help communicate the value of the product to the end users.
  1. Go to Product Administration > Products click the desired product name.
    The selected product details page is displayed.
  2. On the Product Details page, click the Setup button or a gear icon in the Collaterals section to open the Associated Collaterals page.
  3. Click New Collateral.
    A New Collateral popup window is displayed.
  4. In the popup window, enter the following details and click Save.
    • Name: Enter the name of the collateral.
    • Sequence: Enter the sequence number. The collaterals display in the mentioned sequence.

    • Description (Optional)

    • Type: Select the collateral type from Manual, Marketing Flyer, Image, and Video.

    • Information Type: Select the information type through which way you are associating collateral. Supported information types are, Attach File, URL Address, and Embedded Code.

    • External Facing: Enable the toggle to make the collateral visible to all users when they add products to the cart.

    • Click Browse Files or drag & drop the file to attach file to product.

The selected collateral is associated with the product. The associated file visible in the collaterals section.
