Associating Price Lists with a Product

You can associate more than one price list with a product. When the sales representative selects the quote with the price list, CPQ displays all products that are associated with that price list are displayed on the catalog page.

Go to Admin Setup > Product Administration > Products > Click on a product name.
On the Product Details page, click the setup icon () in the Price List Items section to open the Associated Price List page.
Click the Dollar icon to view all the price lists available in the org under Available Price Lists.
In the Search Price Lists field, enter keywords to search the price list you want to associate with the product and click the search icon or press Enter or Hover the mouse on the required price list and click + next to the price list name.
The price list is associated with the product and is displayed in the Price List Items section (left-hand side).
Create a new price list, if the desired price list does not exist.
1. Click Create New Price List under the Available Price Lists section.
2. Follow the steps in Creating Price List to configure the new price list.
3. After configuring and saving the new price list, return to the Associated Price Lists page.
4. Search for the newly created price list as described in step 4 and associate it with the product.
Enter the following details for the price list item:
1. From the Charge Type drop-down, select the required charge type for the product.
2. In the List Price field, enter a list price for the product.
3. From the Price Type drop-down, select the price type.
4. From the Frequency drop-down, select the frequency for the product.
5. From the Price Method drop-down, select the price method for the product.
6. Turn on the Active setting to activate the price list.
Click the ellipsis icon next to a price list name and click Add Charge Type. A new charge type is added for the selected product. Multiple charge types for the same price list are together.
Click the ellipsis icon next to a product name and click Charge Type Criteria. For more information, see Adding Charge Type Criteria to a Product.
Click Save.

The price list is associated with the product.

If you click the charge symbol on PLI listings, it will display the charge-type criteria.
