Viewing Rebate Programs

The rebate program is primarily designed for use by the Sales and Marketing department admin. The rebate programs page provides a comprehensive listing of existing rebates and lets you filter, sort, and delete a rebate as required. You can also create new rebate programs from this page.

Rebate Program Search

You can narrow down the rebate programs list using the search feature. You can either define a search criteria to search for a range of rebates or use the rebate search option.

Basic Search

In basic search, you can search for a rebate program using keywords. For example, you can search using the name of the rebate program.

  1. In the Search this list field, enter a keyword related to your rebate details such as rebate name.
  2. Click the search icon () or press Enter.
    CPQ returns all rebates that contain that keyword in the rebate names.

Advanced Search

In advanced search, you can search for a rebate program using a search query. The search query uses options provided in Field, Operator, and Value and displays a search result that matches the criteria.
  1. Click the Advanced Search () icon . The Advanced Search pop-up is displayed.

  2. Click Add Criteria.
  3. Enter the following details:
    1. Field: All rebate field options are available in the drop-down list such as Rebate Name, Type, Effective Date, Expiration Date, Last Modified Date, and Auto Apply? Value: Enter a value.
    2. Operator: Operators that are available for selection helps create the filter expression. Operators are displayed based on the field types.
    3. Value: Enter a value.
  4. Click Add Criteria if you want add more criteria in the advanced search.
  5. Review the filter expression.
  6. Click Apply to enable the search filter. CPQ returns all rebates that match the criteria.

Sorting Rebate Programs

You can sort the rebate list by clicking the column names. The rebates are sorted alphabetically in ascending order using the rebate name. Every time you click the column name, the sorting switches between ascending and descending order. You can adjust the column width by dragging the columns. Hover near the column boundaries till two-way arrow appears. Click when the arrow appears and drag left or right to adjust the column width.

Actions available on this page
  • Click Create New to create a new rebate.
  • Click the rebate name to view or edit the details of the rebate
  • Click the ellipsis icon next to the rebate name to delete an existing rebate.

Items per page

At the bottom of the page, you can see the total count of rebates available. You can control the number of rebates to be displayed on each page. You can select the number of rebates from a predefined list. You cannot configure this list. By default, you see 20 records on each page.

By default, you can sort 10, 20, 30, 50, and 100 rebates per page using the Rows per page drop-down. This feature works in association with the search and filter functions to display search records per page. You can use the < and > buttons to move to the next or the previous pages. You can also jump to a certain page using the page search component.

Rebates Summary
  • Click on a rebate name from the list of rebate to view details for for all sections that is Information, Scope, Criteria, and Benefit.
  • All the sections have 'Expand' and 'Collapse' effects to view the details. The data is displayed in read-only mode.
  • You can edit a section of the rebate from the Summary page. For example, open a Rebate and expand Benefits. Click Edit to modify the benefits that are applied to the selected rebate .
