Sending a Quote for Review

The Send for Review feature introduces the document selection page, supports multiple attachments with auto-selection of uploaded documents, and enables adding multiple recipients in the To, CC, and BCC fields. In the To, CC, and BCC fields, both users and contact names are displayed. Support includes searching by name or email ID, case-insensitive matching, and validating email addresses that are entered manually. An error for invalid emails ID is displayed.

The Review and Send page displays a default email template, allows custom messages to override template content, and preserves user input when navigating back. Only a single email is sent to all recipients, consolidating all selected and newly uploaded documents as attachments.

The file upload section, lets you upload the documents of the type: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, PNG, and JPG. There is no limitation on the number of files, however the API restriction is for 21 MB. When a file is uploaded, its auto selected and displayed in the Selected documents pane. A single email is sent regardless of the number of documents uploaded.

  1. Open the required quote.
  2. Click Next Steps > Send for Review.
  3. Select the required documents from the list by clicking on the respective checkbox. You can also upload the required documents by using the Drag-and-Drop feature or selecting the Browse Files option.
    The list of documents is visible in the Selected Documents pane.
  4. Drag and drop the documents to reorder as required.
  5. Click Next to open the Review and Send page.
  6. Enter the recipient's email IDs.
    The Email Subject is auto populated from the template. You can modify if required.
  7. Click Write Custom Message to insert a custom message. If you do not select this option, the email template shown in the right pane serves as the email body.
  8. Keep the Update Quote stage to presented checkbox, if required. If the check box is selected, the quote's approval stage changes to the Presented after sending the quote for review.
  9. Click Send.

    The email is sent to the recipients along with all the attached documents and the Approval Stage status changes to Presented. The Accept button is enabled.
