On the catalog page, you can view product details and additional collateral for each product, such as brochures, specification sheets, and etc. These details are available from the product information popup window and helps you evaluate products before you add them to the cart.

To view the collateral, you must have associated the required collateral with the product. For more information, see Associating Collateral with a Product.

When you select a product in the catalog and open the product information by clicking the product name, the following details are displayed:

• Product Name: The name of the product
• Product Fields: Product information, including description, product code, and other fields.
• Product Details: If the product is a bundle and has child products inside, this will show all options at the top most level of the bundle along with the product code, list price, and description.
• Collateral: Additional information provided for the product, this may be a file to download, a url to open, or static text to copy. This includes the Name, Type, Description, File Type, and the Action".
  • Each collateral item includes descriptive information that helps you decide which content to open. For each item, the following attributes are displayed:
    • Name: The title of the collateral.
    • Description: A brief summary of the content.
    • Type: The category of the collateral (for example, brochure, specification sheet, video).
    • File Type: How the collateral is provided (attached file, URL, or embedded code).
    • Action : The action you can perform on the collateral item, based on its file type.
  • Collateral items are listed in a defined sequence so that the most important or commonly used items appear first in the list.
  • The Collateral section header also shows the total number of collateral items, so you can quickly see how much supporting information is available for the product.
  • If no external-facing collateral is available for the product, the section displays the message "No additional collateral for this product."
