Installing Conga CPQ (RLS) Package

The Conga CPQ (RLS) package is required to integrate and synchronize your CPQ data with the Conga Platform.

Prerequisites

  • Conga Community portal credentials
  • Installation key
Note:

Contact the Conga support team for the installation key.

You must verify that the onboarded Salesforce org has all the dependency packages.

Viewing the Installed Packages on your Salesforce org

  1. Login to your Salesforce org.
  2. Go to Setup > in the Quick Find box, enter Installed Packages and select it. A list of installed packages is displayed.
  3. Verify the version number against the packages as mentioned in the following.

To install or upgrade the dependency packages, refer to the CPQ Packages for the order of the package installation. After ensuring the installation of the above dependant packages, you must install the latest Conga CPQ (RLS) package. For package details, refer to the latest Conga CPQ for Advantage Platform release notes.

Installing the Conga CPQ (RLS) Package

Install the latest version of the Conga CPQ (RLS) package. Refer to the latest CPQ on Conga Platform release notes for the packages.

  1. Login to the Conga Community portal.
  2. Go to Get Started > Install Center.
  3. In the My Packages navigation link, click CPQ to view a list of CPQ-related packages.
  4. On the CPQ (RLS) tile, click the environment where you want to install the packages. Click Install in Production to install the packages in your production environment. Click Install in Sandbox to install the packages in your sandbox.

    To install any specific version, click Details on the package tile, and select the required version > click Install in Production to install the packages in your production environment. Click Install in Sandbox to install the packages in your sandbox. A Salesforce login screen is displayed.

  5. Enter login credentials and click Log In. Use the onboarded Salesforce org login credentials.
  6. Enter the installation key provided by Conga.
  7. Select the profile for which you want to install the package. Conga recommends that you select Install for All Users.
    • Install for Admins Only: This is the default setting. Apply this access level to disable all object permissions.
    • Install for All Users: Apply this access level to assign users permissions to read, create, edit, delete, view all, and modify all, for all objects in the CPQ package.
    • Install for Specific Profiles: Apply this access level to assign permissions to specific users to read, create, edit, delete, view all, and modify all, the pricing-related objects in the CPQ package.
  8. Click Install.
