You upgrade the Digital Commerce SDK to the October '25 release by updating the SDK libraries and configuring the npmrc file with the correct GitHub registry and authentication token. This ensures the template can securely download and use the required SDK packages.
Refer to the SDK Guide, and go to Upgrade Information > Upgrading the Digital Commerce Template from February '25 to October '26.
After cloning the reference template, you must update the npmrc file in the reference template with the SDK library hosted URL as below. Enter your GitHub authentication token at line 2 after authToken=
