Data Extraction Setup
uses mappings to extract provisions from uploaded documents. needs definitions for the types of documents it will receive. This process is automated; however, you may from time to time be required to edit the choices made by the AI, or you may prefer complete control over the process.
Contract provisions are categorized as either fields or clauses.

A field contains some measurable, normal property: a date, a percentage, a duration, or a cash value.

Clauses do not have a measurable characteristic; for example, a stipulation, an indemnification clause, a jurisdiction clause, or a representation of fact.
Access provision models through the Data Extraction Setup tab in the left navigation bar. Manage provision models using the Provision Library.
When built-in or generated provision models do not meet your needs, you can create and train your own custom provision models to provide bespoke extraction solutions.

These are specialized for several industries and improve the granularity and specificity of your extractions. These stock provision models are pre-trained and do not learn from continuous training or user feedback.
Not all provision models are available for attorney review with Verified Extraction. If you need Verified Extraction, you must negotiate the projected provision model set with your Conga account executive.
