Event Sub-Types in Conga Orchestrate
Important: Check the Enable Event Placeholder Step checkbox
in the Setup Information section of Conga Orchestrate Setup. This setting creates the
sub_type__c field.
When a process step is an event placeholder, Conga Orchestrate waits for an event with a matching sub-type to be created before child step(s) can execute.
Configuring event sub-types
- In Setup, enter Activity Custom Fields in the Quick Find.
- Select Activity Custom Fields.
- Select the Sub Type field label.
- Click Edit next to a sub type value.
- Enter the sub-type label and API name and click Save.
- Repeat for all needed sub-types.
- Click the Deactivate link next to any value not in use.
