Configure In-flight Order Cancellation

An In-flight order refers to an order that has not been activated yet and has some corrections (in configuration, pricing, etc.) against the lines.Managing an In-flight order is not a default functionality in Conga Order Management.

To enable In-flight order management (currently limited to Cancellation), you must configure the following settings in Order Setup.

Disable is the default value.

Indicates whether to manage the inflight orders or not.

You must enable this setting in the Order Setup, to allow the users manage (Cancel, Change/Amend) the In-flight orders.

By default, the setting is disabled. Toggle or Slide the Toggle Switch/Slider to enable or disable this setting.

  • Pending
  • Activated
  • Fulfilled
  • Partially Fulfilled
  • In Fulfillment
  • In Amendment
  • Being Amended
  • Draft
  • Processing
  • Generated
  • Presented
  • Confirmed

Pending is the default value.

The cut-off event is business event beyond which an inflight order can't be canceled. You can set any status from the list in previous column as the cut-off event .

If the status of the order is beyond this cut-off event, the Cancel Order button is not enabled (visible) on the Order Details page.

For example, if the cut-off event is mentioned as "In Fulfillment", the order cannot be managed (Canceled or Amended) after this status.
