Transaction Settings

Use the Transaction Settings to determine what features your senders can use while configuring a transaction.

Under Document Management Apps, navigate to Transaction Settings for the following options:

General

  • Hide Language Dropdown - When enabled, allows the user to access the Language option in the More Actions menu.
  • Expand Documents Panel by Default - When enabled, the Document pane will be expanded or collapsed when loading the signer experience. This does not apply to tablet and mobile type devices.
  • Display Help Menu - When enabled, the Help option will be available under More Actions.
  • Display Overview Page to Recipient - When enabled, the Overview page will be displayed to signers on accessing the signer experience. The Overview page contains list of

    documents they need to review/sign and supporting documents you may need to upload.

  • Display Signing Logo within iFrames - When enabled, the signing logo is displayed when the signer experience is displayed within an iFrame.
  • Geolocation - Defines whether the location will be gathered in Evidence Summary. Geolocation requires consent from signers.
  • Display Document Name on Each Page of the Document - When enabled, the document name will be displayed at the bottom of each document page in the signer experience.
  • Display Signing Progress - When enabled, the signing progress will be displayed in the signer experience.
  • Allow Recipient to Navigate Across Actionable Fields in the Document - When enabled, the field navigator is displayed within the signer experience. This will navigate across all required fields in the document.
    1. Include Optional Fields in Navigation - When enabled, the fields navigator will also navigate across optional fields in the document.

Declining to Sign

Note: The following options can be customized by reaching out to our Customer Support team.
  • Allow Recipients to Decline Transaction Signing - When enabled, the Decline option will be available within the More Actions menu in the signer experience
    1. Disable ‘Decline: Other’ - When enabled, the option ‘Other’ (with a free text field) will be available for the user to enter their own decline reason. If there are no defined reasons (done via support), this option will be available regardless of its true/false setting.

Global Actions

  • Display ‘Download’ Button - When enabled, the Download button will be displayed within the signer experience and in the transaction page of the sender interface. Within the signing experience, this setting will apply to the transaction owner as well as to all recipients. Within the sender interface, this setting will not apply to the transaction owner.
    1. Disable Document Download for Incomplete Transactions - When enabled, a recipient can download documents before the transaction has completed.
  • Hide Evidence Summary - When enabled, the Evidence Summary will be available for download for the transaction owner once the transaction has been completed.
    Note: The Evidence Summary button is only available to the transaction owner.

In-Person Configuration

  • Hide Transaction Owner from Recipients List in an In-Person Transaction - When enabled, the transaction owner is displayed within the recipients list on the Welcome page of an In-Person esignature experience. The transaction owner will be hidden from the dropdown, even if they have signatures in the transaction.

Sender

  • Enable Document Extraction when Uploading Documents - When enabled, Adobe Acrobat fields will be extracted when a document is uploaded. Refer to Document Extraction for more details.
  • Enable Text Tag Extraction when Uploading Documents - When enabled, Text Tags will be extracted when a document is uploaded. Refer to Text Tag Extraction for more details.
  • Enable Transaction Expiry in Days - default Expiry type for a transaction. When enabled, the transaction expiry time will be defined in days. When disabled, the transaction expiration date will be defined as a specific date. The sender can always override the option when creating a template or transaction.
  • Enable In-Person Signing for all New Transactions - When enabled, newly created templates or transactions will be defined as type 'In-Person signing'. The sender can override this setting when creating or updating a template or transaction.
  • Enable Screen Reader Accessibility for all New Transactions - When enabled, newly created templates or transactions will have screen-reader accessibility enabled by default. The sender can override this setting when creating or updating the template or transaction.
  • Limit Number of Files per Attachment - Applies a limit of the number of files a signer can upload per attachment, When this option is not selected, there is no a limit to the number of files that can be attached.
  • Font Size - Defines the font size to be used to display signatures and form fields on a document. Signatures and form fields will be auto-scaled when set to ‘Auto-fit’

Signature Settings

  • Hide Signature Details for Handwritten Signatures - When enabled, the signature details are displayed behind the hand-drawn signature on a signed document.
  • Require Signer to Draw Their Signature for Each Hand-Written Signature - When enabled, signers are required to draw their hand-written signature each time they click a hand-drawn signature box within the signing experience.
  • TimeStamp on Signature - Displays the timestamp on a Signature that was signed but not yet confirmed.
