Rotate your Entra ID Secret
If you are using Open ID Connect (OIDC) authentication to authenticate with Entra ID, then a client secret will need to be supplied to the Application Portal in order to ensure secure communication between your Entra ID instance and the Application Portal.
The renewal of this secret is performed in Entra ID and has a maximum length of two years (24 months), so renewal will be necessary in order to maintain user access to Conga Applications.
Step 1
Create a new application client secret in Entra ID, and save the new secret in your clipboard or Notepad. Don't rotate the application to use the new secret yet as it needs to be updated in the Application Portal first.

Step 2
Paste the new client secret into your Identity Provider configuration. The configuration is available using the following navigation Admin -> Identity Providers -> Configuration -> Application Secret.
The dates should also be updated to reflect your new secret's lifespan. Note that the Secret field is different from the Application ID field, which will remain unchanged in this process.
Click Save Changes in to save the new configuration.
Step 3
Return to Entra ID and rotate to the new Application Client Secret in your Entra ID configuration. This will need to be performed after Step 2 to ensure continuous user access.
Step 4
Test user access to the Application Portal by having a user log in to any Conga application or the Application Portal itself.
