Application Roles in PROS Home
Roles are used to define access permissions on applications in PROS Home. Adding permissions will display a tile on the PROS Home in order to launch the Collaboration Portal Designer application.
To display roles available for the Collaboration Portal Designer, from PROS Home, go to Admin → Environment Management, then click on the Roles & Groups tab. Then, select the Collaboration Portal Designer application from the Applications list.
Two columns are displayed:
- Roles - role name
- Groups - groups allowed for a given role
LIST OF ROLES
| ROLE | DESCRIPTION |

| UI_ECOMMERCE_DESIGNER_ADMIN | Used to allow users to open the Collaboration Portal Designer with an administrator profile |
| UI_ECOMMERCE_DESIGNER_BUSINESS | Used to allow users to open the Collaboration Portal Designer with a business profile |
